ReviewBoost (“we”, “us”) is operated by Binary Stag Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

1. Who uses ReviewBoost

ReviewBoost is a tool for business owners to request reviews from their own customers by SMS. There are two groups of people whose data may be involved: the business owner (our user) and the customer the owner chooses to text.

2. Data we collect

• Account data (business owner): name and email address, provided through Sign in with Google, Apple, or email via Firebase Authentication.
• Business data: business name, country, industry, selected Google/Yelp listing, and review links.
• Customer contact data (entered by the owner): the mobile phone number the owner asks us to text, and the owner's confirmation that the customer consented. Phone numbers are stored encrypted; we display only the last four digits in the app.
• Usage & delivery data: message status (sent, delivered, clicked), timestamps, and aggregate statistics.

3. Google user data (Business Profile connection)

If a business owner chooses to connect their Google account, we request access only to that owner's own Google Business Profile, with their explicit OAuth consent, to: read reviews and notify the owner, reply to reviews on the owner's behalf at their request, read profile performance metrics, and read account/location information.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and use it solely to provide the review-management features described above. Owners can revoke our access at any time from their Google Account permissions.

4. How we use data

To send review-request SMS messages the owner initiates, generate review links, track delivery and clicks, show the owner statistics and reviews, provide support, and operate and secure the service.

5. Service providers we share data with

• Twilio — to deliver SMS messages.
• Google / Firebase — authentication, Places search, and (with consent) Business Profile data.
• RevenueCat / Apple — subscription processing.
• Cloud hosting — to run the service.

We do not sell personal data.

6. SMS recipients, consent & opt-out

Business owners must confirm that a customer has consented before sending. Every message includes opt-out language; replying STOP permanently opts that number out, and we block further messages to it.

7. Data retention & security

We keep data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Phone numbers are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted and traffic is served over HTTPS.

8. Your rights

Depending on your region (including GDPR in the EU and CCPA in California) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Business owners can delete their account and associated data at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing us. Customers can opt out by replying STOP or contacting the business.

9. Children

ReviewBoost is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date above.
